Inzozi Hills School provides high quality education to children in our impoverished rural community.
The word “Inzozi “ means dream. Our dream is for our students to reach their potential by developing in them a passion for learning.
We want our students to become problem solvers who can develop their community. The Inzozi Hills School believes that providing children with a quality education founded in the values of peace, reconciliation and non-violence will contribute to long term peace, stability and economic development in Rwanda.
We employ knowledgeable teachers who offer an innovative and supportive environment for learning.
We provide quality meals, uniforms, educational books and equipment to the children, many of whom have previously had no access to such necessary learning tools.
Our focus is on enabling students to become confident in speaking, writing and reading in English as well as Kinyarwanda, to have a workable skills in foundational mathematics and to understand basic scientific and social issues. Our school was initially built with a grant from the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade as part of their development assistance programs in Africa.
We need your financial help to expand the school to meet the demand.
We started the school in September 2023 with 72 students in lower primary classes. We urgently need to expand to accommodate children in upper primary classes. We need to build classrooms employ more teachers and buy more educational resources.
Please make a donation to help us reach our dream to educate the children of our community, a life changing path for them to reach their potential.
