Agriculture

The MSI is located on an integrated farm and we are committed to improving agricultural productivity and ensuring food security in our community through research and best practice. Our farm has crops of: Maize, Beans, Avocadoes, Chia seeds and bananas. MSI produces Vermont style compost to increase the fertility and richness of the soil. We welcome visitors to tour the farm and see our crops and compost development.

Book An Agricultural Training Course

 

Agricultural Training Courses can be for several days, weeks or months, depending on the needs of the trainee.  Accommodation and meals provided.

 

Cost is 120,000 RWF per month for one person – includes, accommodation, meals and training. A contract will be signed between MSI and the trainee.
